Bear's Page

Bear makes arrow heads, knife points and spear points out of stone, glass and metal.  If you go to the powwows in southern California, chances are good you have seen Bear working either in a tipi village or at a booth.  He also works as traditionally as possible and still keep up with his orders.  He also makes finished arrows, spears, knives and war clubs.

These knife blades are made of glass with antler handles.  We drive the back roads here at home and do our own kind of recycling picking up old TV screens and table tops that people have thrown by the road.

This is a game called Stick Dice that the Miwoks of Central California taught us.  It is a simple game that anyone can play and is enjoyed by everyone.
